Cast

hoboFish Improv’s cast is composed of a dynamic ensemble from all over the Bay Area. The current cast is:

After a four-year stint with Roadkill Buffet, MIT’s premiere (well, only) improv troupe, Ally is in grad school at Berkeley to be a bioengineer. Those are the people who make glow-in-the-dark cats. Having once ridden a train illegitimately, Ally is excited to be with hoboFish

Alex has done comedy with Theatre Rice, Kamikaze Theory and is now a Hobofish regular. He has also trained with Upright Citizens Brigade. He likes to lurk on 4chan and ride his bike.

Jeff has been performing improv since college and has performed with Theater Rice!, Un-Scripted Theater Company, and trained with BATS and Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) improv. On weekends he enjoys ham sandwiches, sans crust, and fondeling bubble wrap. hoboFish Encounter: I once asked a hoboFish for directions, he punched me in the jaw and we fell in love.

Originally from the great state of Maryland, John also comes from the premiere MIT college improv group, Roadkill Buffet.

Maikiko James once had dreams of becoming a famous actress in movie films. As that has yet to occur, she’s content with the extravaganza of antics that is hoboFish, and the like.

Like most people Adam was born. Sixteen years later he started performing improvised theater. He is tickled pink to be currently performing with hoboFish. Previous credits include: The Royal We, and Willie Nelson Mandela (founder) in Chicago, Roadkill Buffet (director) and The Coalition Against Racist Propaganda and Other Crimes Perpetrated by the White Man (founder, artistic director) in Boston, The Footlights in England, and Synergy Theater in San Francisco. Adam is also amazed that you read this far into his bio, you, yes you, deserve a medal. Seriously.

More hobo than fish, Dominique enjoys scrimping money through diligent coupon use and then blowing it at Cache Creek Casino. Before hoboFish she worked with Pinoy Playback Theater and Theatre Rice. She is currently unemployed.

Edwin is a writer and perfomer living in Berkeley. Born and raised in the small town of Yuba City, Edwin moved down to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley where he majored in Film Studies.
Although most people recognize him from his critically acclaimed performance as the Scarecrow in Lincoln Elementary School’s 5th Grade production of “The Wizard of Oz,” he is currently a member of hoboFish Improv.
Edwin has performed in the Fracas Improv Festival as well as throughout the Bay Area. He enjoys a good burrito, has a decent CD collection, and still cannot perform an Irish accent.
